Chef Alesha shares her personal and powerful story of faith, perseverance, and overcoming in her chapter “Dear Fear, You Can’t Have My Testimony” in the best-selling book series, Dear Fear VOL 3. In her chapter, she describes the unexpected diagnosis of breast cancer (which eventually brought her business to a halt), chemotherapy treatment, and an unfortunate infection, that landed her in the hospital fighting for her life. This took a grueling toll on her body, and she feared dying and essentially not fulfilling her God-given purpose in life. This is what caused her determination and dedication to what she now calls “total healing” as she pursued healing for not only her physical body, but emotional, mental, and spiritual healing as well. Now she is living her life boldly, on the other side of fear in hopes of encouraging others to be overcome by the words of her Testimony!
